Millions of Australians are neurodivergent — yet many supports, particularly in pregnancy and childbirth, are not designed with their individual and unique needs in mind.

The Bradley Method teaches practical skills to support the transition into parenthood.

sensory processing
Pregnancy and birth bring intense sensory shifts. We help you map your sensory profile, advocate for low-stimulus birth environments, and navigate the overwhelming sensory demands of carrying a baby and newborn care.
emotional regulation
The hormonal shifts of the perinatal period can make emotional regulation extra challenging. We provide practical tools to manage executive dysfunction, prevent autistic burnout, and process the intense feelings that come with transition.
Birth planning & education
Standard birth classes often miss the neurodivergent experience. Our education focuses on explicit communication, what to actually expect from hospital environments, and creating a birth plan that honors your specific processing needs.
organisation & routines
Sleep deprivation and executive dysfunction can make early parenthood feel chaotic. We work with you to build flexible, neurodivergent-friendly routines to manage feeding schedules, health visitor appointments, and home life without the shame and confusion.

Why is this training so beneficial?
Pregnancy and the transition into parenthood can feel especially overwhelming for neurodivergent parents, particularly when it comes to planning, organising information, and adapting to constant change. Many also find the shift into parenthood challenging due to increased sensory demands, disrupted routines, and the need to make rapid decisions during labour and early newborn care.
Our training is centred around The Bradley Method which provides clear structure, step-by-step preparation, and practical tools to reduce uncertainty and overwhelm. By breaking down what to expect and offering predictable frameworks for birth and postpartum care, it helps parents feel more grounded, confident, and able to navigate each stage with greater ease and clarity.
Husband & Partner support
Pregnancy and birth aren’t just about mum — they’re about building a calm, confident team. That’s why we place a strong focus on preparing partners to be actively involved, informed, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire journey.
Using the Bradley Method of natural childbirth education, we teach partners how to move beyond the role of “observer” and step into a confident coaching and support role.
This approach is grounded in calm preparation, deep understanding of the birth process, and practical tools that help partners respond effectively in real time.
Labour & Birth Planning
Labour and birth planning is about feeling prepared and informed, not controlling every outcome. We help you and your partner create a clear, flexible plan that reflects your preferences while staying open to how birth unfolds.
Using the Bradley Method approach, we focus on practical tools, comfort techniques, partner support, and confident communication with care providers. You’ll also learn how to navigate changes in plan while staying calm and grounded.
For neurodivergent parents, we include simple structure and step-by-step guidance to reduce overwhelm and support clearer decision-making during labour and delivery.

Nutrition & Exercise
A healthy pregnancy is supported by steady, intentional habits that help the body prepare for labour, recovery, and early parenting. Through the Bradley Method of natural childbirth education, we encourage a simple, sustainable approach to both movement and nutrition that supports strength, stamina, and overall wellbeing throughout pregnancy.
Bradley Method places strong emphasis on maintaining good physical conditioning during pregnancy. Gentle, consistent exercise is encouraged to support circulation, core stability, posture, and endurance — all of which play a role in preparing the body for labour. This may include walking, stretching, prenatal strength work, and relaxation-based movement that keeps the body active without unnecessary strain.

relaxation for an easier birth
Standard relaxation advice like "just clear your mind" often fails to resonate with neurodivergent brains. If you experience ADHD racing thoughts, executive dysfunction, or autistic sensory overwhelm, sitting still can actually increase tension.
We ditch generic mindfulness in favor of body-first, practical techniques that work with your unique nervous system. By focusing on somatic movement, deep pressure therapy, and reducing the cognitive load of the unknown, we help you access genuine physical ease.
We embrace and integrate self-soothing behaviors that traditional classes overlook.
By tailoring relaxation to your specific sensory profile, we ensure your brain and body feel safe enough to let labor progress efficiently and confidently.
